Kim Kardashian disregards conservative dress code as she slips into a revealing off-the-shoulder white lace cut-out dress during visit to the Vatican.

40-year-old billionaire, with millions of Twitter followers, Kim Kardashian shunned conservative attire and instead opted to flaunt her looks in an off-the-shoulder white lace dress as she toured Vatican City, the official residence of the Pope of the Catholic Church. Perhaps the right question to ask is: What would the Pope say?

There is a dress code people adhere to when vising Vatican City. Especially at St Peter’s Basilica and Vatican Museum or the Sistine Chapel. Visitors must cover their knees and upper arms. Sleeveless tops, shorts or skirts above the knee are prohibited. Shoulders must be covered and visitors may be turned away or advised to cover up with a shawl. Women are permitted to wear a hat, but men are expected to remove their hats visiting the city. The reality star was touring the city with model Kate Moss and her daughter, Lila Grace. Unlike Kardashian, Moss and Lila was pictured looking very conservative during their visit.

The 18-year-old, Grace who has followed in mum Kate’s modelling footsteps, wore a purple satin floor-length dress and black buttoned blazer. Her mum, Kate also dressed in black long-sleeved shirt and black knee length skirt, with their hair slicked back instead of being on their face as they observe dress codes while in Rome. Kim Kardashian described herself as “really religious.” Christianity has always been part of her life. She was educated in Presbyterian Christian school as well as a Roman Catholic school. In October 2019, she was baptised in an Armenian Apostolic ceremony at the baptistery in the Etchmiadzin Cathedral complex. But, does that make her a Christian or does that mean she should understand how to dress appropriately in the Vatican?

Kardashian filed for divorce from her estranged husband – Kanye West in February this year, after nearly seven years of marriage. Perhaps she is seeking for divine guidance through her visit to the Holy City, following her third marriage breakdown. Kim Kardashian was married to Damon Thomas in 2000 and divorced in 2004. She married Kris Humphries in 2011, divorced in 2013. She wed Kanye West in 2014, and in April 2021 they both agreed before a court that they would end their marriage.

In April 2021, Forbes estimated Kim Kardashian’s net worth at £1 Billion. Combined with her estranged husband – Kanye West’s net worth of over £1.2 Billion, Kardashian is not expected to have any financial challenges as a single parent of four children. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s children are; daughters – North West, son – Saint West, daughter – Chicago West and son – Psalm West.

Some visitors to the Vatican say she was inappropriately dressed for the visit. Contrary to the Vatican dress code, Kardashian’s outfit would distract believers at the Vatican during their prayers as she turns up in the figure-hugging dress, which featured a cut-out design at the midsection, allowing a glimpse of her waist.

Surely, if the pope allows it, Jesus would not have allowed it, said an onlooker. What do you say?
